Well, the surgery was successful, thank God. It wasn't the arthroscopic surgery he had hoped to do, though, he had to "open me up" to use his terminology. i have some recovery to do now, and i'm off to do just that. One-handed typing will probobly get easier with time, but for now, it's the pits.
